Texas Spirit Initiative was able to come alongside some of the families and individuals who were hit the hardest during the 4th of July floods. With the support of our donors and volunteers, we offered direct relief that helped cover immediate needs like housing deposits, medical expenses, clothing, furniture, and other essentials lost in the disaster.

Among those helped were:

A single mother with two children who lost their RV and needed a safe place to call home.

A family facing the unimaginable—medical expenses following their daughter’s severe injury and medical needs.

An elderly resident who lost critical personal items during the flood.

Several families who lost homes or household contents, many of whom had little or no prior aid.

In total, seven households received assistance from Texas Spirit Initiative. Each situation was unique, but they all share the same thread of resilience, grit, and the unwavering determination that defines Texans in times of crisis.

This is what Texas Spirit is all about—neighbors stepping up for neighbors, strangers becoming family, and communities proving that even in the hardest of times, hope is stronger than hardship.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has donated, volunteered, and prayed for these families. Your support makes recovery possible.
